Welcome to Queensland Labradoodles. With over 13 years of experience in dog breeding, we began our journey with Beagles, a breed I have cherished since childhood. However, after discovering Labradoodles, I was captivated by their affectionate temperament, their suitability for families with children, and their low-shedding coats. Our Labradoodles have made a profound impact on the lives of individuals facing challenges such as ASD, PTSD, and depression, bringing joy and transforming their daily experiences. This rewarding impact is the driving force behind our commitment to breeding exceptional Labradoodles.
All of our puppies receive comprehensive care before joining their new homes. They are routinely wormed, treated with Frontline, and fed a high-quality premium kibble, Meals For Mutts. For weaning, we use PRIME100 Puppy wet food, which provides essential nutrients necessary for their growth and development, rather than puppy milk.
To ensure the highest standards of health, most of our breeding dogs undergo DNA testing to rule out genetic diseases. Additionally, all are hip and elbow scored to help minimize the risk of dysplasia, ensuring peace of mind and contributing to the overall well-being of our dogs.
All our dogs are sold under a de-sexing contract, requiring that the procedure be performed between 6 and 9 months of age.
All our puppies come with a puppy pack, this has the current worming schedules, a 2.5kg bag of Meals for Mutts puppy food, a toy and comb. We also highly recommend for you to do a puppy development clinic with a dog trainer with 38+ years of experience, we ask you do this before you bring your puppy home or not long after as she can assist with the smooth transition into a new home and help with tips for puppy behavior and how to introduce new environments.

A Labradoodle's coat can change in color and type as they mature, so it’s important to choose a dog based on overall characteristics rather than appearance alone.
Our Labradoodles do not shed fur.
FLEECE COAT
Fleece-coated Labradoodles, commonly known as ‘shaggy’ Labradoodles, are the most prevalent coat type within the breed. Their coat is considered the easiest to maintain, with minimal shedding. It should be brushed at least once a week to keep it in good condition.
The fleece coat should feel soft to the touch and can range from slightly wavy to notably wavy. It is not uncommon to find coarse hair, or kemp, around the eyes of a fleece-coated Labradoodle.
WOOL COAT
Wool-coated Labradoodles, often referred to as ‘curly’ Labradoodles, are the second most common coat type within the breed. The tightness of their curls varies depending on genetics, with some resembling the tight curls of their Poodle parent and others having looser curls.
For curly-coated Labradoodles, daily grooming is recommended to maintain their coat. Alternatively, you may choose to have your dog's coat trimmed shorter for easier maintenance.
A Labradoodle's coat should be maintained at a length of no more than 4 to 6 inches. Allowing the coat to grow excessively can lead to matting and discomfort for your dog.
To keep your Labradoodle's coat in optimal condition, it is advisable to schedule grooming sessions with a trained professional every 6 to 8 weeks, regardless of the coat type. Regular plucking of hair inside the ears is necessary to prevent infection and buildup. Additionally, frequent nail trimming is essential, especially if your dog primarily walks on grass rather than concrete.
A Labradoodle’s coat should not be grown out further than 4 to 6 inches in length. Allowing your dog's coat to grow excessively leads to matting and in turn pain for your Labradoodle.

We understand that purchasing a puppy can be overwhelming, especially with concerns about potential scams. Please be assured that we are a fully registered business with an ABN. We recommend conducting thorough research when buying a puppy. Look for consistency in photos and verify identifying features such as power points and light switches to confirm authenticity. Trust your instincts if something feels off.
At Queensland Labradoodles, we are dedicated to advancing the breed while ensuring our dogs thrive in loving, family environments. To achieve this, we utilize guardian homes—local families who receive a top-quality puppy and participate in our breeding program.
In a guardian home arrangement, Queensland Labradoodles retains breeding rights for a pre-agreed period. This approach allows our breeding dogs to live as cherished family pets, receiving the love and attention they deserve while contributing to the breed's development.
Our female dogs are limited to no more than three litters and are retired by the age of five, if not sooner. Upon retirement, they become permanent members of their guardian families. Our male dogs are typically needed only for short periods, often on short notice, although we strive to provide at least a week’s notice when possible.
Guardian families are responsible for all veterinary costs not related to breeding, including annual vaccinations and monthly worming. All our dogs are treated with NexGard Spectra. While we recommend pet insurance, it is not mandatory.
To qualify as a guardian family, you must reside in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or the Gold Coast, own your home with a large yard, and ensure that any other pets are de-sexed.
Guardian dogs are provided at no cost, but a security deposit of $1,000 is required, which is refunded at the end of the contract. If the dog does not pass health testing, the deposit will become the puppy's purchase price, and the dog will be de-sexed at your expense. Additionally, a $500 bonus is awarded to the family upon the dog's retirement.
We have discontinued our waitlist due to the high number of people who find a puppy before we have one available, which diverts time and attention away from our puppies. For updates on upcoming litters and availability, please follow our Instagram page.
The Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) program, initially developed by the U.S. Military as part of their "bio-sensor" or "super puppy" program, was further studied and popularized by Dr. Carmen Battaglia.
ENS focuses on stimulating puppies' nervous systems during a crucial developmental period, typically between birth and 2-3 weeks of age, when they begin to hear, see, and move more independently. This early stage is critical for laying the foundation for future growth and development.
The principle behind ENS is to apply controlled stress, known as eustress, which is beneficial and promotes growth, similar to how physical exercise strengthens the body. Unlike distress, which can be harmful, eustress helps in developing a stronger, more resilient nervous system.
The ENS program involves specific techniques designed to provide just the right amount of eustress, effectively serving as a "workout" for the puppies' nervous systems. This preparation is essential for the subsequent socialization period, where puppies learn to interact with humans, other dogs, and various environments. By implementing ENS, we ensure that our puppies are emotionally prepared to handle and adapt to the challenges of socialization.
Dr. Battaglia's ENS method is chosen because it has been shown to enhance stress tolerance, disease resistance, adrenal responsiveness, and cardiovascular health in dogs. The scientific and experiential evidence supports that ENS contributes significantly to optimal developmental outcomes.
We are committed to producing puppies with the best prospects for a fulfilling life, and we believe that the ENS program is a vital component of this commitment.
Our puppies are adopted quickly, so we encourage you to contact us soon to reserve your forever puppy or to inquire about any questions you may have.
